Context:
The Divine Vet is a private clinic in the UK specializing in holistic animal therapy. The challenge was to build a comprehensive visual identity system around an existing logo, ensuring aesthetic coherence across all physical and digital touchpoints.
Solution:
My role was to translate the brand’s core values - holistic care and gentle therapy - into tangible assets. I developed a suite of corporate communication materials, including personalized stationery, business cards, and digital letterheads. Additionally, I designed the branding for the medical staff's protective equipment (scrubs). The result is a calm, modern, and friendly brand atmosphere designed to inspire confidence in both pet owners and patients.
The colour palette of The Divine Vet project is built around two main shades chosen by the client: pastel pink and light blue. Pastel pink expresses affection, care, and sensitivity, conveying the idea of a strong emotional bond between animals and humans. It is a warm, friendly, and empathetic color that gives the visual identity a human and tender dimension. Light blue evokes calm, confidence, and balance, being associated with serenity and tranquility. At the same time, it suggests professionalism and safety, essential values for a veterinary business. Together, these two colors create a delicate yet harmonious contrast, where pink brings emotional warmth and blue provides stability and credibility. The result is a gentle, modern, and balanced aesthetic, perfectly suited to a brand that promotes holistic care.
The typography used in the project strikes a balance between professionalism and accessibility: For the brand name, the client had already chosen a font (Coronet) with elegant serifs that conveys delicacy, refinement, and personality. For secondary information (contact, slogan, description), I recommended a clean and legible sans-serif font (Roboto), which provides clarity and a modern look. This typographic combination creates a harmonious visual contrast, allowing the brand to be perceived as serious, yet approachable and friendly.
Result:
The Divine Vet project successfully translates the fundamental values of the business into visuals: compassion, natural balance, and professional care. Through the use of a soft color palette, balanced typography, and graphic elements with empathetic symbolism, the visual identity coherently conveys the vision of a holistic veterinary clinic. The end result is a brand that inspires trust and closeness, setting itself apart from the classic, more rigid aesthetic of conventional veterinary clinics. The Divine Vet thus presents itself as a space of healing and harmony, both for animals and for the people who love them.
